I already knew that EQ2, was going free to play, but to see that their marketing plan for it included emailing each and every member of their former EQ2 accounts, surprised me a bit. I know, I shouldn’t be surprised, it’s a common tactic afterall. However, when my email inbox got flooded with 12 emails – and thats probably just to start – all telling me that it was time to come back to Norrath… lets just say I didn’t expect it.
Anyways, here’s what the email said -
