Path of the Titans – MIA!
Recently, a few gaming sites were invited in for a press tour, and for this tour the NDA on Cataclysm was lifted. This revealed some rather startling information including the removal of Path of the Titans and Guild Talents.
Note: For all of you who might have been saving and trying to buy heirlooms, to level 80-85, Stop Right Now. Read the following in it’s entirety, before you continue. Continue reading »

Strategy discovered by Circle of Might, Lhazaar server
Players across DDO have been frustrated over an encounter where over half of the raid force flies off the fighting platform in under two seconds. We’ve found a way around this and discovered how to negate the dragon’s breath attacks. These tactics are NOT ranged exploits and use the terrain WITHIN THE MAIN PLATFORM to negate the breath attacks of the dragon. Let’s take a look at the class composition a raid group will need:
AT LEAST:
2 Rezzers
3 Tanks
3 DPS (arcane casters or range attackers with good dragon-bane weapons)
It may be possible to win the encounter without the suggested number of core classes but the encounter will present more challenge than it should. The above is a bare minimum for a smooth raid. Raids should strive to acquire a more balanced mix: Continue reading »

* Volume III, Book 1, Patch 1 Delayed
EDIT Patch rescheduled for Monday April 26, 2010, so make sure you have created empty slots for all your characters by the day before….Patch notes:
http://lorebook.lotro.com/wiki/Release_Notes_Volume_3_Book_1_Patch_1_Official
During the final round of testing and verification for tomorrow’s patch, we discovered an issue with shared storage that would impact a significant portion of our players. We feel the potential consequences are an unacceptable risk. As a result, we are delaying the patch, the return of the Spring Festival, and our Anniversary events until we are able to resolve the issue. We apologize for the short notice, and thank you for your understanding and patience!
A new promotion is _scheduled *_ to start when you log off 4-25-2010, to receive the gifts you MUST have several open slots available

if you even visit the link posted by Tolero a Senior Community Representative posted:

Network traffic monitoring has indicated that by simply looking at the offer wall, Turbine sends the email address tied to your account as well as your DDO login account name UNENCRYPTED to the offer provider. Unfortunately, this is legal, but it could also lead to your DDO account being compromised.
I did the HTTP sniffing myself to confirm this and posted the results here: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=242982
We have confirmation that SuperRewards (or an affiliate of theirs) is actively using this pre-passed information to send World of Warcraft account phishing scams. The contents of that email are in the link above.

We have all heard the “trick” of buying low and selling high. With this little bug, you will be easier able to find cheaper auctions to buy, in order to sell for more, or even to better equip your characters at a low price.
This content is for members only.
When an auction is listed you can choose 8 hours up to 72 hours for a duration. When there are several pages of items, auctions are supposed to be listed with ones ending soonest on the earliest pages.
The problem is, the game uses the amount of time the auction has been on, so short auctions (like 8 hours) never appear on the front page.
Certain items like clothing, armor, and jewelry always have multiple pages.
Since the shorter auctions never come to the front page, most people don’t see them unless they fish through a number of (slow loading) pages to look for them.
Several pages back, you can find extra groups of auctions ending for each duration (8, 24, and 48 hour). Since not very many people see these auctions, you can get some incredible deals by just bidding the minimum.
Note:
Also keep in mind that if you are online at odd hours, even fewer people will be around to compete for the items that are ending. And when posting items, remember that they will only get to the first page if you use 72 hour listings. Also try to start your auctions at a time of day when the most people will see them and be on to compete when they are up to the first page.

This is a Dungeons & Dragons Online exploit, which will allow you to farm White Ice Game coins, without skates, quickly and easily.
In the harbor, the stairway above Berne Jorne, the questgiver for the quest “Arachniphobia“, has a small ledge near the top of the second set of steps. Follow this ledge south, making sure you hug the wall.
You will notice one White Ice Game Coin floating in the air a little out from the ledge. The ledge you are standing on is under the Winter Ice Games Ski Jump. If you jump off the edge of the ledge, you will have an effect similiar to feather fall called “Light Gravity”. So, jump off the ledge, grab the coin, and safely float back to the ledge. Now you can change the marketplace instance you’re in, to another using the menu above your map. Rinse/Repeat.
This trick works best if there are 5 or more instances at the same time. Less than that and you will end up having to wait for coins to spawn.
