See what the payout is on your insurance.
Find out what platinum insurance for your ship costs.
Find a low price ship on the market like yours.
Add insurance to that ship. Be sure it is less than the payout.
Warp to an asteroid field and get killed by rats. If you eject or self destruct, it will void the insurance.
Buy the new ship after your ship is detroyed and you have the insurance payout.
You should have just made some money.
You can repeat this and make good money as long as you can find someone selling their ship cheap.
