- See what the payout is on your insurance.
- Find out what platinum insurance for your ship costs.
- Find a low price ship on the market like yours.
- Add insurance to that ship. Be sure it is less than the payout.
- Warp to an asteroid field and get killed by rats. If you eject or self destruct, it will void the insurance.
- Buy the new ship after your ship is detroyed and you have the insurance payout.
- You should have just made some money.
- You can repeat this and make good money as long as you can find someone selling their ship cheap.
