Can you hear it?
It’s the whisperings of,
turning to rumblings of,
an imminent beta approaching!
If you follow the official forums for SWTOR then surely by now you have started to feel the approach of a closed style beta testing phase beginning. With all the posts of people saying they were invited and all the threads getting taken down that were talking about things they wouldn’t know otherwise it was obvious something was going down.

In a situation such as this I would suggest making sure that your beta registration was submitted at this location.
You will also need a account with the SWTOR community if you haven’t created one already, you can do this here.
You will have to have this account created before you can register for the beta.
Even if you are not an active member of the community, still do this as people do get randomly invited throughout the rest of this process. System specs from your system could be all the luck you need in some situations.
Be sure to have the following information handy as this is the system specs you will need to know to correctly complete your beta application.
As taken from the official FAQ on the beta sign up site:
“During the application process, we collect your name and contact information as well as the following information about your computer system: CPU, System RAM, Video Card, Sound Card, and Operating System.”
The news comes by way of an email and a post on the Star Wars The Old Republic website, letting eager fans know that the game has officially entered the testing phase. The first batch of lucky testers is being notified via email as you read this, so be sure to check those spam filters for lost messages. The first batch of emails went out the 9th of July.
Good luck, and if you are a frequenter of this site I hope to have fun with you in the near future in SWTOR!
Note by Spitt: The better your system, the more likely you are to get into beta. They may ask to see a Direct X output of your system specs, so don’t try to doctor this info. Once you get into beta, make sure you post frequently, and solve your own issues whenever possible. This will show the devs you are a good candidate and they will continue to move you through phases.
