Over time, they will get better, but until more people work on them, there won’t be an end all, killer AI. However, to help you get started on making your own AI there is a tool. It’s called MilkyWAI. MiltyWAI will take out some of the more tedious processes out of creating your own AI, including debugging and testing, among other things.

Playing against an AI, can be really easy, when there aren’t any good AIs. This AI for StarCraft II, hopes to change that, by offering a more lifelike approach to building units and expanding. Like the game Starcraft 2, this AI is in beta, but it has already shown to account for it’s resources better as well as to kick the male hormone gland, right from the competition.
When using SC2 Launcher of Zocx:
- Extract folder GreenTeaAI into /Mod folder.
- Delete all the file in the /Plugin folder,
- Select the latest patch
- Choose FreeForALL mode only.
When using SC2 AllinOne of Vernam:
- Copy GreenTeaAI to AI/ folder

What is is and what is it for?
This is a single installation package of the Best beta files (that we know of), that allows you to play StarCraft2 beta offline with bots.
Why we made this pack
We’re all for making software super easy to use which looks good in the process.
Important!
To install, unzip the file, double click the StarCraft 2 Beta – Skirmish Pack exe, and follow the instructions
This pack is recommended with a clean updated install for StarCraft II beta, to ensure you dont run into any problems!
Lazy Launcher will pick up some of the Anti-Virus software as a virus or trojan. This is not a virus! It picks it up, because of the way the software works and the pack type.
For new versions of the make, make sure you uninstall the old one, before installing a new pack. This doesn’t include updates, patches, and mods.
For updates for the Skirmish Pack, please keep your eyes here, we will update it as new ones are released (don’t forget to tell your friends about this site). Members may receive updates quicker, then non-members.

StarCrack AI has been in development since the first AI hack was on the scene. Initially, it was a pretty hacked up version of the Blizzard “very easy” AI that would actually do more than build two marines that glare at you. Since then it has evolved into one of the leading AIs for StarCraft 2.

Starcraft II Beta Launcher
It allows you to choose a map, your race, team color, player type, and which AI you want to use. Then you just click the START button, and Starcraft 2 BETA is launched with all your settings.
Before running the program, go into the sc2 launcher folder that was unzipped, from the zip folder.
Open the file named “SC2Launcher.ini”.
Go to the line that displays “GamePath=Z:\StarCraft II Beta\” and change Z:\StarCraft II Beta\ to wherever Starcraft 2 Beta is installed on your computer.
Then save the file and close.
You are now ready to run the Launcher! Enjoy!
I included some custom AI’s and a TON of AI maps, so enjoy. 
The best AI to play against, in my opinion, is StarCrack AI 6.0, since its one of the hardest. Continue reading »

Hi all, below you will find a bunch of the same maps (as listed in the previous post), the only difference being the maps include their original loading screen and some debug information (only when you start playing the map) which displays the map name, the number of AI opponents and their race (Zerg, Terran, Protoss), you do NOT have to update your current maps to the ones listed below, this was only done for some users who requested it.
I have also included an “AI Developer Map Pack”, which will help the AI gurus develop some better AI for all of us, these maps are exactly the same with one exception, you are only a spectator (watch the computer duel it out).
Note: The AI dev pack only includes 1 of each map, with the maximum supported players.

A workaround for playing Starcraft 2 beta offline vs AI has been found! Looks like someone was able to find a way to patch the Starcraft 2 beta maps with different AI settings, not sure if HARD is really that challenging though, it’s rare for a beta client to contain a complex AI since the goal of Starcraft 2 beta is to have the beta testers play against each other.
