I found this bug/exploit a few days ago, while playing RoM. It allows you to move forward – or away from a mob and to cast non-instant spells while doing so. However like most bugs, there is a trick to it, and a set of conditions which need to be applied. I tried this on a ranged DPS (priest) and it worked fine. I gotta say, this is one of the best things which has been on this site in a while. These will allow you to fly in buildings, dismount when on a flightpath, No Clip in Dalaran, allow you to get double buffs from NPCs, and much more. We have 8 exploits with these 3 macros, but you might be able to find more.
Why is this the best in a while? Because they aren’t game hacks, they use the in game macro system to achieve this – no memory editing, thus no potential suspensions and bans!

It seems that if you are a dual spec, you can throw talent points into one skill, and then switch over your spec to another, and keep the bonus. This works for the InnerFire spell of Priests and the improved healthstone or Warlocks. May also work for other skills for other classes, but needs further testing.

You must use the same type of tower as in the Cairn Giant post.
My advice is look at the Giant tower, then compare it to the buildings in the minotaur king spawn. (It is the North West corner tower)
How it works:
A) Gain aggro on the king by hitting it 3-6 times consecutively
-Do not parry
-Make sure the king hits you if monster seems uninterested
B) Sprint up the tower with the king chasing you (from Ground floor to 2nd)
-Give enough space so the monster does not get stuck going up the ramp/stairs (Hug the left wall)
C) Once the king is on the 2nd floor with you. Make sure he is still aggroed on you (throwing rocks) and run to the 3rd floor to break his line of sight.
-King will now stand still stuck on the 2nd floor.

This spot is a spawn of Sand Scarabs that can be easily killed by perching them in their own spawn, and sometimes they bug themselves out.
What to look for:
There are numerous building remains all over the place.
On the South West side of the spawn you will see an open-faced building with a ramp from the ground to the 2nd floor.
On the 2nd floor you will see a pile of wooden boards in the corner of the destroyed 2nd floor.
How it works:
A) Get all the spawn aggro-ed/ coming to you
B) Run up from the ground to the 2nd floor of the building
-When the mobs are chasing run up the boards in the corner (they will not follow)
-You should be on the top edge of the boards/corner of building.
C) If done correct, the Iklits will now run around continously until they get stuck on the EDGE/LEDGE of the 2nd floor. (Almost as if they are falling off the platform)
3.1) They should stop moving and stare at you standing on the boards.
OR
D) If not done correct, you will be on the boards (safe) but the iklits will run around stopping from time to time (still good for skill up)

Hey all, I am building an anonymous profile site (currently for WoW only), and am hoping you can help me to debug it. I have already sent a list of bugs and revisions to my programmer, but I realize maybe I can’t catch them all. So am hoping you can help me in that matter.
The site is AnonProfiles.com. It allows for localization for US/Oceanic, EU, KR, TW, and CN servers. Right now there are no advertisements, but we do plan to sell text links and to have it be an advertisement driven website. We will also plan to later add other games, for anon profiles. There will be some bonus features which we will be adding soon for WoW players. What is an Anon Profile site? It’s a site which you will be able to use to list your accounts on, so that when you sell or trade them, no one knows the character name, and cannot report you for selling the account.
Please post a bug that you find, here in a reply, so that we can find all the problems with the site to present an optimized site for you to use.

Ok, so I decided to fly down to a planet (Earth). It was going ok, a bit shakey… couldn’t get all the way down. But then I decided to go back to the Starbase, and found the bug. Haha, you can’t get back. You actually get stuck. Of course the simple /stuck command will get you unstuck. But it makes me wonder what else we will be able to use it to do. I suppose it will come down to experimentation, to figure out a way to use it to our advantage.
You couldn’t use it to get out of a fight, but you might be able to drive an enemy into the planet if a group of you were all firing at a ship, possible herd it there?

This spot is a spawn of 2-4 Cairn Giants that spawn around a 4 story tower/building that can be killed rather fast/safe. It’s also a great way to level up some of your skills.
How it works:
A) Gain aggro on 1 cairn giant by hitting it 3-6 times consecutively
-Do not parry
-Make sure the Giant hits you if monster seems uninterested
B) Sprint up the tower with the giant chasing you (from Ground floor to 2nd)
-Give enough space so the monster does not get stuck going up the ramp/stairs (Hug the left wall)

This spot is a spawn of 4 Frostwalkers that bug themselves out and allow you to level your skills on them.
How it works:
4 Frost walkers will spawn up in a tree

Notes:
Sometimes they fall out of the tree. They will re-spawn up on top (as if you knocked them off a ledge or edge)
The tree they spawn in has invisible branches/platforms that you can climb up onto.

Menhir Stoneguards, Near the dungeon west of sandstone hamlet. can easily be soloed, without receiving much damage, by using this little known trick which keeps you just out of their reach.
- Try to pull the mob one at a time if you can toward the dungeon entrance.
- Keeping him on the outside of the wall, run to the north part of the platform against the mountain.
- There is a crack between the mountain and the pillar.
- Pull the mob there till he can hit you through the space and move back enough to get out of his reach, now melee away.
Keep in mind its best to walk into him sometimes to keep his interest on you and not move back.

I recently heard of an interesting bug, where StarTrek Online users (hundreds of them) were having their video cards burned up on them. Now, I assume that for something like this, that a class action lawsuit would be in order. However just to give you some background info on them, it seems that if you DIDN’T manually set your max FPS, then you were burning up your Video Card. Someone recently told me that he lost 2, $250 video cards thanks to STO. Here’s more info on it…

“If you havent manually set your FPS with /maxfps command; then you are redlining your card without even knowing it. Apparently STO has a huge bug where it sets your GPU to try and attempt an infinite framerate which bottoms it out. Even if you arent running hot you are still doing damage since its redlined. To fix this serious problem log into the game and type /maxfps if it comes up 0.000000 then you have been running redline for days most likely. Just type /maxfps(space)# between 30-60 for fps. Then type just /maxfps to make sure it took.
The /showfps command may still show zero but thats bugged so dont pay attention to it. After you set your maxfps you should notice markably increased performance, less heat if you were running crazy hot like me, and the ability to set more stuff to max if you were unable to before.
LAST TIP VERY IMPORTANT. Dont forget that every time you log in you must set your fps again or it will go back to 0.00000.”
So, whats the final verdict? Cryptic Studios, is claiming that it’s a problem with your drivers. You need to update or rollback your drivers – though shouldn’t it be update? In any case, it’s your problem not theirs… In other words, you might want to read more on this issue, BEFORE you install/play the game.

As long as you put in, 1 point into improved lifetap, then the more spellpower you have, the more mana you will be able to generate. This will probably be nerfed back to something less powerful, but I have heard of some warlocks being able to get 2000 mana, from 400 health. This will become a new killing spree for warlocks in PvP.

It seems that Fal’inrush, Defender of Quel’thalas, may be bugged. After the last patch, it got a HUGE dps upgrade. Is it bugged? We don’t know, but it sure looks like that. If you check the WoWHead link above, it shows 272.7 dps. This next screenshot however will show you what it’s at currently…
Likely this is just a bug, which will be fixed soon… however it’s not jsut a visual bug at this point. A hunter using this x-bow does do more damage now as well.

Occasionally, you will need to be able to disconnect your self, in order to explore places. It usually allows you to move past something like an invisible wall, or a door way. It can also be used for creating bugs, and other wayward exploits. There are a few ways to do this. For WoW users, we have a macro to do it in game. For others, there is a tool as well as a simple thing to do for non-dialup users.

I can only assume you have read my other articles on what to get in a hero’s attributes, and what the hero’s attributes are for. As you begin to play more, you will raise your attack skill immensely, and after months of playing it’s not unheard of, to have a hero with 270 attack.
The best attack hero you can get, will be a base 70 attack. This is a low level hero, which at level 1 has level 70. If the hero is level 8, then the attack would be 78. You want to snatch these base 70 heroes up, as they are rare and welcome in any attack, especially at higher levels.
There are some tricks however, which will allow you to find more heroes, then what is listed in the inn. The first trick we are going to talk about will simply allow you to refresh the Inn, without having one of those scrolls to do it for you. The way that we do this is to empty a city of all the heroes, and to have a Feasting Hall, the same size or greater then the Inn. What you do is buy all the heroes up, and let them all go. It will cost you a bit of gold, but that’s not a big deal, better gold, then real money or the luck of a spin, right?

We have all heard the “trick” of buying low and selling high. With this little bug, you will be easier able to find cheaper auctions to buy, in order to sell for more, or even to better equip your characters at a low price.

The Auction House has a bug in the way it displays auctions.
When an auction is listed you can choose 8 hours up to 72 hours for a duration. When there are several pages of items, auctions are supposed to be listed with ones ending soonest on the earliest pages.
The problem is, the game uses the amount of time the auction has been on, so short auctions (like 8 hours) never appear on the front page.
Certain items like clothing, armor, and jewelry always have multiple pages.
Since the shorter auctions never come to the front page, most people don’t see them unless they fish through a number of (slow loading) pages to look for them.
Several pages back, you can find extra groups of auctions ending for each duration (8, 24, and 48 hour). Since not very many people see these auctions, you can get some incredible deals by just bidding the minimum.
Note:
Also keep in mind that if you are online at odd hours, even fewer people will be around to compete for the items that are ending. And when posting items, remember that they will only get to the first page if you use 72 hour listings. Also try to start your auctions at a time of day when the most people will see them and be on to compete when they are up to the first page.
