This spot is a spawn of 2-4 Cairn Giants that spawn around a 4 story tower that can be killed rather fast and safely. This may take a little practice to get it to work right, but it’s a great technique to kill this small spawn of giants.

I’m going to explain what each party member needs in detail as well as the strategy which will allow you to take one of these things down in about 20 minutes worth of work. This content is for members only.

30k-80k gold
1-5 mounts

40 Numen
2 Rank 65 Weapons

Now lets say you get a drop of 80k
80/4 is 20k EACH For 20 mins work

You need the sidestep melee upgrade, the one where you can double tap in any direction.

The trick is, after having engaged a mob in melee, spam double tap backward while swinging like crazy. You’ll notice the mob will miss you several times.  After you master this, you will be able to take anywhere from 50%-80% less damage per mob.  This works best, in melee mode, not casting/ranged.  There is no reason that utilizing this trick, you shouldn’t be able to take out higher level mobs, then normally.

Bonus Tip:  When overweight & walking slow, you can double tap to move.  You can increase your speed this way 2x or more.

This trick allows you to remove all your armor pieces at once, without waiting for timers.

If you set up a campfire, then an AoE attack cannot pass through them.  This is great for defending against sieges to your town or near bindstones, to protect them.  You can walk through them but not nuke through them.

To raise these two skills you can use newbie weapons, you just need someone to target and they don’t even have to have a shield on, and they can also be resting. Not only will it raise the skills, but will also raise STR, VIT and Quickness.

If your friend is fighting mobs, and you stand behind him/her, you can hit them with a haste spell, which will crit, giving them insane dps against mobs.

Alternatively, if you his them with a buff from behind, you can give them greater gains for purchasing skills or ?

It seems like only 6 months ago, that the big talk in Darkfall, was going to be the transfers.  People were leveling their characters, getting those skills up, waiting for that transfer to go online… and boom! they were going to be the champions of the NA1 servers.  Of course now that all this time has passed, and the NA1 servers have been online for quite some time, the fact that these transfers are free till the end of the year, makes me wonder if anyone will transfer now.  By now, those people who wanted to transfer are either no longer playing or have already made new characters on the NA1 servers, or they are even happy on the EU1 servers, because those months have passed, and they are in really nice alliances.

I wonder if the free transfer is now live, so that the devs, can get more players playing the NA servers.  One reason to throw in free transfers isto balance our servers, the other is to keep dead servers more alive – cause no one who plays mmo’s wants to play by themselves.
