I realized as I was leveling Engineering on my Paladin, that I don’t have a guide up here for it. Having an Engineering leveling guide makes leveling cheaper. This will tell you where to get & which recipes make leveling fast, and cost effective. It will will help you achieve either Goblin or Gnome Engineering, along with leveling to 450.
In World of Warcraft, the Engineering profession enables players to create a variety of items, ranging from bullets and arrows to explosives and goggles. The difference with these crafted items, however, is that there are some that only characters with engineering skills can use, and some items are risky to use because there is a chance that they might backfire.
Engineering goes well with Mining since most of the materials you’ll need for Engineering can be harvested through Mining, so you might want to take the two of them together to save up on WoW Gold. Of course, if you don’t want to take up Mining, you can always buy WoW Gold to ensure that you have enough funds to buy your materials at the Auction House.
Proficiency
As with all professions, Engineering has six proficiency levels, which are listed in the table below. As you increase your character’s level and your Engineering skill level, you can increase your Engineering Proficiency by visiting an Engineering Trainer. While any Engineering Trainer in Azeroth can teach you Apprentice to Artisan Engineering, you can only learn Master Engineering in Outland or Northrend, and Grand Master Engineering in Northrend.
Training costs WoW Gold, and the prices differ depending on whether you chose Engineering as your Primary or Secondary profession.

It’s possible to block entrances, such as the Auction House, with this recipe. Unfortunately, it’s a world event acquired recipe. However this is a great way to block peeps to get into buildings, might also work to keep mobs away, or to allow you to build a staircase. However it’s not fully tested… This content is for members only.

Here are 3 mind control tricks that can devastate your enemies, allow you to have some fun, and die trying. Any Priest or Engineer should be able to accomplish these tricks.
- Duel someone while waiting for a boat or zeppelin. Make them jump off the dock or tower and possibly fall to their death. Can also make them miss the boat. If far enough away, they will lose since they get out of the boundary.
- Mind control the opposite faction, then use /em <message> to talk to them.
- In Gadzetan or Booty Bay, change your reputation to “at war”, then mind control the AH characters, and move them off their platform. They won’t be able to get back up.

How to craft arms with 2 sockets:
To start with, make sure you are a Droid Engineer. Being level 90 is a plus, although a lower level DE should be able to achieve similar results at the cost of more material.
First, it should be noted, what is needed for each arm. At it’s simplest, you will need copper, steel, inert gas, polymer, lubricating oil, and steel, in the form of Control Units, Micro Sensor Suites, and Electronic GP Modules. Note that the quality of these materials are of no importance, as I’ll discuss later- indeed, I used smelted steel, copper, etc. whenever possible, and had no issues getting sockets on my cybernetic arms. The process of making an arm can be made time efficient by utilizing equipment factories; note that utilizing a factory is not necessary, and every cybernetic arm must be crafted by hand anyhow.
