I already knew that EQ2, was going free to play, but to see that their marketing plan for it included emailing each and every member of their former EQ2 accounts, surprised me a bit. Â I know, I shouldn’t be surprised, it’s a common tactic afterall. Â However, when my email inbox got flooded with 12 emails – and thats probably just to start – all telling me that it was time to come back to Norrath… lets just say I didn’t expect it. Most of you know that powerleveing will yield great results with a mentor that can AOE.
However, even though it seems to be abused quite often, I haven’t seen the recruit a friend XP trick posted around. Basically, make an e-mail at yahoo/gmail and go log into your station account at EQ2Players.com.
Next, go to the front page of EQ2Players.com or find the recruit-a-friend section through the Station.com control panel after you log in.
Send your new e-mail account an invitation. Log out of your EQ2Players.com/Station.com account. Continue reading »

This trick will allow you to pay once for the station pass, and still reap the benefits of it (access to extra character slot), without keeping up the payments. While this is for EQ2, it may also work for other SOE games.

There are a huge variety of weapons in EverQuest 2. There are so many, in fact, it can be very difficult to figure out what type of weapon is best for your character. Obviously, you want stats that are appropriate for your class. You also want a high damage value. These parts are easy to compare. They are directly comparable between two weapons. The tough part is weapon speed because that is when the game mechanics of combat come into play. This guide seeks to demystify the weapon speed mechanics in EverQuest 2. Continue reading »

Some of the features are listed below. Speed Hack and Manual Teleportation are the two most common “modifications” you can find across the internet for EverQuest 2. This one also gives you much more than that. Equip your Wicked Wand of Malice into charm slot and activate it so the buff is active. Now the buff can be removed if the item is removed or you click the buff off.
Here how to get around that:
- Put wicked wand in second charm slot.
- Take the charm item you want to replace the wicked wand with, and put the charm into a hot key. For example, I use the number 1 hot key.
- Now zone.
- It doesn’t matter where you zone, just get to the zoning screen. Now when get the note receiving zone files or just before you finish the zoning spam, press the hot key you have the new charm assigned to (the number 1 key).
When you finish zoning your Wicked Wand of Malice will be replaced by the other charm and you will still retain the damage proc.
Enjoy

I’m sure people have wanted to move as fast as they want, and I know that EQ2climb allows you to move as fast as you want and teleport, but here is a way to increase your speed using a popular tool.

On a pvp server (or any server) you can check which of your enemies is online.
You do this by doing /whochannel exile. /whochannel evil or good works as well, but you’re more than likely going to find a bunch of noobs there, while exile chat usually has the pvp targets you’re looking for anyway

As you know repeatable quests don’t give AA but there are some quest that are repeatable but don’t have the repeatable tag on them in particular the betrayal quests.
So at around 25 ( use 25th because at this point you have ports, evacs, run speed, mounts, tinkering etc etc to make it easier) you can betray you will get AA for doing the quests to ditch your city then when you become exile start doing the bounty quest series these give around 10% AA every turn in and the first time you run it u get like an extra 7% for each named.
These quests give AA but here’s the catch, say you do the really easy quests and go back to your city. If you betray again you get AA all over again!
There are around 52 quests in the entire betrayal series that around 5 AA‘s every time around plus you get an extra 4AA the first time you betray.
Use eq2i.com for the quest info and get ready to be a beast! Oh yeah a class with ports will be faster but any class can do it just run to the bells and take them to the zones you need. Or level your tinkering as tinkering is a useful high end ability anyway!

For those of you who wish to macro and bot in games, there is no better solution then Macro Goblin. I have had the fortune to work with Jack in the past, and while his program does not support World of Warcraft as a memory reading/editing solution. However it does support many online games, including Aion, Warhammer, Age of Conan, EverQuest 2, Lord of the Rings Online, and more. The nice thing about this macro software, is that you can use it in virtually any game including World of Warcraft), as it can be used as a pixel bot. A Pixel bot, simply watches for color changes, and then when a color change happens, it performs a task, like move mouse to XY or press a key. They also support crafting macros which is great if you hate to do crafting individually. Of all the game bot programs out there, this is definitely one of my favorites and most reliable solutions. I also want to mention that Jack tends to answer questions posted right away on his forums and he doesn’t flame noobs, which can happen with other bot suites.
