The Doomsday devices represent the ultimate weapons in the world of New Eden. The massive requirements mean that only the Titan class ships can mount these devices.
Original Design of Eve’s Ulitmate Weapons
Doomsday Devices are the most devastating weapons in the Eve Online universes. The hard point requirements for these weapons are so intensive that only Titan class capital ships can mount them. Continue reading »

All that you ever wanted to know about stacking penalties, but never dared to ask.
As you might have noticed, some modules will say ‘Penalty: Using more than one type of this module or similar modules that affect the same attribute on the ship will be penalized’. You’ll see this on several modules, from sensor boosters to tracking computers and from inertia stabilizers to armor hardeners. What does that sentence mean? It means that for every module you add above the first, the effect on the attribute is diminished. A second sensor booster won’t add the same bonus as the first. For some time people have been looking to find out exactly how the stacking penalty works. There always has been a deviation from the values you find in the game. That is, until now. I was able to derive the stacking penalty formula that fits ‘exactly’.

The Raganarok, the Erebus, the Leviathan, and the Avatar can all wield Doomsday devices. A pilot with the right skills can fly these ships and unleash havoc upon the foes of the player’s alliance
What Makes the Titans Unique
Capital ships dwarf all other ships in Eve Online. Even among a class of ships noted for its large size, the Titans stand out among all the others. Each of the four player character races has its own Titan class ship.
Titans are the class capable of supporting a class of weapons called Doomsday Devices. (No other class of ship has the necessary hard points.) The Eve Online page of the Strategy games wiki says that these weapons start at a base of 37,500 damage before any modifiers are added. CCP added the ultimate ship weapon in the Dominion Expansion. The Mimnatar Republic will go to any lengths to keep its people from becoming slaves of the the Amarr Empire or any else for that matter again. The way they peruse this goal is by giving their ships powerful weapons to greatly damage their opponents and fast engines to get their ships out of danger. Continue reading »

An Eve Online pilot learns his skills in real time. Even though he can pay to train multiple skills at the same time, he must learn each skill individually. Focussing on the learning skills first reduces the time it takes for a player to learn important kills later
How Learning Eve Skills Works
Skills do not work the same way in Eve Online as they do in other games. Players learn the necessary skills from a trainer at a starbase. They do not spend the time grinding the skill and finding the components. Instead, each skill has a learning time associated with it. You will learn a skill in the amount of time the listing says it will take.
The real time learning frees players up for playing the more enjoyable portions of the game, or at least through getting through the portion of the game referred to as “fighting rats” more quickly. (This refers to fighting the pirate ships in the beginning areas of the game.) It takes real world time to learn skills in Eve Online. Continue reading »

The player character racial factions all give out their own ships, A pilot looking for status and style may want to purchase the blueprints that allow him to make a pirate faction ship. All he needs is the right faction standing and the right equipment.
The Caldari Raven, the Gallente Megathron, the Amarr Apocalypse, and the Minmatar Typhoon are the racial faction ships. Other NPC factions offer ship blueprints to players that faction’s trust. The Serpentis Faction offers a ship that modifies the Megathron design, but the Serpentis faction is not the only pirate faction that gives blueprints to players.

When taking part in a large fleet maneuvers you can be in a fleet of 50 or more frigates with additional skirmishers and recon pilots. The roaming section of the course can cover a fairly large area. The fleet will progress through low sec space, where your Flight Commander (FC) might find targets of opportunity, as well as through multiple 0.0 regions.
The fleet will be most effective if it is able to move smoothly as directed by your FC and change direction without delays where required. This article will go through some of the basic things to keep in mind when moving together with a large fleet. Continue reading »

Introduction
The purpose of this article is to explain the basics of warping, warp core stabilizers (WCS) and warp disruption fields (Bubbles) for new players or students that have not ventured into 0.0 space. This article is intended to be a primer, rather than a definitive guide to all warp disruption mechanics, providing enough information to de-mystify the subject. Continue reading »

Eve players don’t play for long before running into such terms as “signature radius”. Over time, most develop some idea about what these terms mean, but when players become concerned with being successful in PVP these terms take on a new importance and require a deeper level of understanding. Understanding the terms explained in this article will help you to deliver more damage to your enemies, to avoid taking damage without necessity, and to understand the impact of electronic warfare in PVP. The logging off trick (log-off-ski), is most commonly used at gate camps in low sec or in 0.0, it can be used during war decks or in the event of meeting some one with kill rights.
The vanishing trick, is mainly used when you find your self in a warp bubble and the log-off-ski wont work.
Both tricks have the same desired result where you are able to avoid the destruction of your ship or pod.
Certain circumstances must be in place to allow one of the above tricks to be used. Such as having some form of cloaking device fitted. If these conditions are not met then the attempt to invoke them may be sadly doomed to failure, resulting in ship or pod loss. Continue reading »

This is a simple AutoIt script which uses pixel detection to mine automatically. The source code is provided so that you can edit it as you see fit. This has been tested on the following resolutions 1600×1200, 1600×1024, 1280×1024, & 1024×768 on a new ship. All the code is documented on each line, so you should be able to figure out what you need to do.

Some times you just want to bot, rather then doing drudge work. This is an auto-mining bot which will take some of the dredge out of the game for you. It’s very easy to set-up, and there are no monthly payments to pay to use this bot. It’s very well set up, but following are the instructions to use it anyways.
The Settings
Number of times to run
number of complete cycles from undocking to mining to docking.
Minutes to mine for
How long you want to mine for. If your ship finishes mining quickly, set it lower. Might need some testing. If your ship has a cargo of about 150, 5 minutes should be enough.
Sell after mining
This will sell your ore when docked. If you want to see how much you’ve mined, set to no.
Number of lasers to use
To use more than one laser, put your lasers in the first slots. and select how many you want to use. Continue reading »

A couple years ago, the source code for EVE Online’s client was released. It turns out, that it was written with Python. What makes this so unique is that Python, when cracked or reverse engineered, comes out as the original code. Using this code, anyone can more easily make a bot or game hack, which will work with the client. You can get the source code here…
