Maestro and Tr3s Luna may be the most unusual games out there. Some have compared them to Myst… The games were created and programed by Mike Oldfield with a small staff. Mike Oldfield is the composer/multi-instrumentalist [aprox 30 instruments at Tubular Bells and close to 60 for Amarok] of Tubular Bells, Hergest Ridge, Omnadawn and other music.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Oldfield
His early success with Tubular Bells in 1973 gave him the financial freedom to pursue using computers in the recording process and making videos (himself) his love of making and flying model airplanes led to his getting fixed wing and rotary wing pilots licenses…
I read that Mike invested 25 million in the development of Tr3s Lunas and Maestro to build the virtual world HE wanted to explore. The games were originally released with music; one disc music one disc game, then were downloadable for a fee, but now are free.
Just for a short clip of his musicianship and the inane questions asked by TV interviewers…

A workaround for playing Starcraft 2 beta offline vs AI has been found! Looks like someone was able to find a way to patch the Starcraft 2 beta maps with different AI settings, not sure if HARD is really that challenging though, it’s rare for a beta client to contain a complex AI since the goal of Starcraft 2 beta is to have the beta testers play against each other.
Simply follow the instructions on the previous tutorial on playing starcraft 2 beta with the offline crack then use the maps provided below instead of the one linked in the torrent :
Steps :
- Step #1 : Follow the previous guide that was posted to install the Starcraft Beta
- Step #2 : Download these maps, select this maps from the LazyLauncher

Whats better then having a bot that player for you? A bot that plays for you, and doesn’t cost you any money! This bot will read memory, but not write to it. The benefit of this kind of bot, is it is less detectable then a bot which injects code. Reading memory, allows you to set up custom waypoints as well.

So I was searching for places to advertise rpg-exploiters… strangely, I came across a online poker site that advertised free to play, and win real money. So, I decided to check it out. Now the strange part comes in. There are Evony ads on the site on a rotating banner, they are flash of course… but they have scantily clad women. Now, I have played Evony, and no where, not even in chat do we ever see scantily attired women. We don’t even get avatars or even small icons, that could allude to sex… and let me set this forward… this ad was selling sex… but on Evony? If you actually look at the ads, there isn’t even a message about what the game is about.
On a side note, I wanted to share some enlightening information… Evony cost less then $10k to create. I myself spent around $20 on it. I figure, if I like a game, I can spend money, but I try not to exceed $20 a month… I played for about a month so the amount I spent, wasn’t bad. I did get into the intrigue, learned some interesting lessons. I spied, infiltrated, had a bit of fun and laughs, and more… but the thing is, I thought $20 was a lot… I recently spoke with a guy I know, who admitted to spending over $200 on it… o.O I suppose we each put value where we enjoy things in life. I just wish I had more disposable income, that I could throw that kind of money around and not flinch.
Anyways, if you have the time, check out the poker site. You might even see me online playing (be merciful). And if you make money, give me 20%, k?

If you are into crafting, and you want to hit 450, as quick and as cheap as possible, then there are 3 resources I recommend. 2 of them are websites, and the 3rd is an addon, that works well, in game.
WoW-Professions and WoWGuideOnline are pretty much the same thing, with little difference, except for the layout of the actual guides. I have used Penn’s Ultimate Profession Guide as well, but it’s pretty much a regurgitation of the free guides – or maybe they are regurgitation’s of his guide, I am not 100% sure either way.
The other way I recommend, is with an addon, and it’s pretty much just a guide on what to craft, and how many items you will need, but there are no wowhead links, so if you want further information, you will need to look it up in your browser. WoW Professional, is really my choice to use, since it’s all in game.
A couple other addons I have found to be very helpful, especially when trying to get all the recipes are Ackis Recipe List, and Recipe Radar. Ackis Recipe List, is great when you are doing research and trying to figure out whether or not you have any more recipes you need to learn, or where to go to get all the recipes. Recipe Radar works similar in that it will tell you when a recipe is nearby, that can be bought, from whatever zone you are hunting in. If you use it in conjunction with an auction program, you can see how much money you could make, if u resell the recipe.
