I thought I would share some of my experiences from CBT, this is just a rough outline for newbie players but please feel free to share your own thoughts.
Start leveling your mastery asap, try not to overdo it though, by level 20 you want to be ready for adept and level 30 be ready for expert which = char lvl 30 mastery level 20-21
If you overdo your mastery you will run out of quests and be left with repeatable quests and just grinding on mobs to level your toon but if you under do it you might find your char at level 30 and with mastery level still in adept and be stuck to grind out mobs just to get your mastery up
My advice to anyone is once you unlock your novice weaponry go one for one,so if your characters level is 11 you should be level 1 novice, level 21 on your character your mastery should be level one adept, level 31 on your character your mastery level should be level one expert and so on and so on
To put it bluntly every time you level your character level your mastery class also so they are even and you should be fine

Why train Thieving?
- Makes excellent amounts of money–for some, over 750k per hour.
- Getting able to make that kind of money is much faster than getting high RC.
- Money made is more non-player-dependent. Unlike hunters, the number of people at a place do not create more competition.
- The cape is awesome.
Ok, to get started here…
Low-Level Thieving
With the release of buyers and cellars, no longer do you have to start by pickpocketing men!
Do the quest Buyers and Cellars ASAP. As you level up, remember to keep coming back to do subquests. Continue reading »

written by Benjamin Sell of brighthub. With addendum by Spitt
Practically anyone who’s ever attempted to jump into a raid or even a heroic instance in World of Warcraft has at one time encountered the dreaded gear score requirement. Some raid leaders, eager to fill spots but wary of allowing players with gear that may not be up to snuff for a particular instance, blatantly discriminate based on the number they receive when they plug your character name into a gear score website or addon.
The first time I encountered it, I had no idea what gear score was. Now I watch it closely. Continue reading »

Earlier I had mentioned finding some guides, what I meant was I also found Dugi’s Leveling guide as well. I tested it in game, and found that it contains the following… Dugi’s Leveling Guide, Dugi’s Dungeon Guide, and Dugi’s Dailies & Events Guide. I gotta admit, the dungeon guide is pretty awesome. It has maps, shows where the quests are within the dungeons, and also give you the quest run for each dungeon. If you are hooked on randoms, like I am, then this is one heck of a resource. Add in the others, and this is a steal! Continue reading »

Here’s a few farming spots, which will net you 3500-7500 PP per hour. These are great spots to grind farm mobs, which you can use to sell the items you collect. By following this guide, you will know what is worth more, and what is crap. If you are level 80, you can farm, while you also grind levels out. These are the best farming spots in the game, they will also make for some worthwhile spots to play for a few levels, while you level up, allowing you to maximize exp and PP gained.
Remember, only you know what your player can handle, so only pull the amount of mobs, you know your character can handle. Continue reading »

Hills of Shade 83 – 85 And Beyond!
Once you’re in Hills of Shade you will want to head northeast up to the undead.

Right near the Graveyard you will find a small town, that you can get someone to bind you in if you wanted to be bound here. (Don’t recommend it but, if you want to) There isn’t anything in this Graveyard aside from Zombies, so keep the number one rule in mind… Don’t get bit otherwise you’ll have to inject yourself with the Anti-virus!! Loping Plains 77 – 83
There are 3 places in Loping Plains with undead for you to kill at your level. One being the Graveyard, the other the Chapel and the third the Decaying Caverns. They are all close to one another, so if you get bored you can just switch areas. Below is the map of the area you’ll be hunting in, in Loping Plains.

Usually I move between the Graveyard and Chapel killing any skeletons I see. As you get higher in level and grab some more AA’s you will be able to breeze through the caverns.

Direwind Cliffs (Undead) 75 – 77
Once you’re in Direwind Cliffs head west to the camp of undead, below is a picture showing you where it is from the Sunderock Zoneline.

In this camp you’ll find at least 4 different types of mobs, all of them being undead. The main difference of this camp and the one above it is this one is pure 100% undead. The one above has some living mobs mixed in. Continue reading »

Arcstone 71-75
After you hit level 71, this is one of the best zones you can be in. You can access Arcstone from the Guild Hall. If you don’t have a guild…. Well I don’t know how else to get here =(. The good thing about Arcstone is the “Oh shit” ability. If you pull too many you can run to the end of the world and jump off. (Don’t worry you’ll end up in Freeport safe and sound!)
Once you arrive in Arcstone from the Guild Hall, you’ll be in a small camp of NPC’s. To get to the undead from here you should head northeast. Pop an invis if you got it, just incase. For better directions follow my map below to see exactly where to go;

In this are you’ll want to watch out for Manifestation of Ravenglass. He is a big skeleton that walks around this area. If you’re lacking in the AA and Gear department you’ll get one serious beat down. Continue reading »

The Hole 70-71
Note: If you have Damage Shield Pots, Bring them!
If this is your first time in the hole then it may be a bit confusing at first, but you’ll quickly learn your way around. The mobs that will con Light Blue to you can be found at the Temple. Since this zone’s map SUCKS (Good Job whoever made it, can’t even $%&^ing see it) Look for the entry way on the western side that is in the picture below.

Here is another landmark to look for that is right next to this bashed in gate; Continue reading »

Wall of Slaughter 65 – 70
To get to Wall of Slaughter head through the portal in the Guild Hall. Once you arrive in Wall of Slaughter jump off the ledge you arrive on and head east to the Undead Murkgliders. The only thing you have to watch out for with the murks is that they run, and in the big rooms you can get adds.

Crypt of Nadox Levels 57 – 65
The undead in Crypt of Nadox that you’ll want to be killing are down by the Hate’s Fury zoneline. If you hit “M” and look at the southwestern portion of the map, you’ll know what I’m talking about. Look at my map below for exactly where the undead are. As far as loot goes they hardly drop anything more then Zombie Skin, but almost always give you 5-7pp per kill. I find it best to hang out in this zone until about level 65 and grind at least 50 AA’s as well here, maybe more.

Veksar 46 – 57
Veksar has two types of mobs in it, undead and goblins. You will first run into goblins when you first enter Veksar. You will have to ether invis or kill your way through the goblins to reach the undead. To get to the undead, jump down into the large room with all the goblins. On the western side you should see a wooden ramp. The undead are up over the ramp in the other room.
You will be fighting the Sentries until about level 50. Once you reach level 50 you’ll travel through the underwater Aquaduct (It’s marked on your map) to the other side. When you first surface you will see one mob. Kill this then look to the right in the next large room. Be careful in here if these mobs are still yellow to you, they usually don’t come in a single pull.

Lower Guk Levels 30 – 46

There are many entrances from Upper Guk to Lower Guk, any of the ways you’ll generally be fighting the same mobs. My recommendation is to enter and start to clear your way through. (Make sure what you’re killing is undead, its not too hard to tell them apart, the undead frogs look, well, dead!) A good method that I use is keep clearing through until it starts to get to hard, then clear back a good distance. After you do that clear back to where it was hard and it should be easy. Kurn’s Tower 10 – 15
Once you’re in PoK head to the Cabilis stone which is on the “Evil” side. The stone will take you to the Field of Bone. From the Field of Bone head northeast to Kurn’s Tower.

Once you’re inside Kurn’s Tower you can start killing the undead. Stay near the zoneline, this is where you will be the most safe for the next few levels. All you really need to keep in mind for this level is stay away from the Burynai Sapper. Continue reading »

The Mines of Glooming Deep
When you first start out you’ll be standing in front of Arais who is trapped with you in a jail cell. The very first thing you will want to do here is hail him. In the upper left hand corner of your screen you’ll see directions, for this part, telling you what to do. Since you’re already being walked through what to do, come back to my guide when you’re done this part.
When you finish the first part by giving Arias the key you will be ported to The Mines of Glooming Deep. Once you’re in the Mines of Glooming Deep you will want to hail Arias to continue your quest. After you hail him you will need to head over to Absor. Look at my picture below if to see where he is in comparison to Arias.

There are two spots in Krondon to exploit pbaoe farm. The first is at the entrance as soon as you zone in and go to the big room. There is a pillar on the right side of the room. Go to the back side of it and jump up it until you are as close to the top as you can get, lag jumping helps here. Pull what you like, and aoe kill them.
The other is way in the back towards the bosses of this dungeon when it starts to look like poc. The first main hallway you come to as you get into the poc look alike area. On the right side is the exact same as the above poc glitch. Jump up onto the ledge and get a puller. Pull what ever you want, and aoe them.
