One of the most annoying things about the game of Evony, is not really understanding the ranks and how they affect the game. There is not even a description in the game of what either does for you – seems stupid, right? While I admit to not completely understanding the ranks, there is one thing I can explain. In order to build another city, you need to be a Knight. So if you have enough medals for either but not both, get Knight instead of Captain. Later however, you will need to get Captain, in order to get Baronet. It seems that they work hand in hand, you want knight, baronet, baron, etc. for more cities. In fact you need to be General, to become Prinzessin as well.

If I know I am not going to play other characters, but still want to get the daily quest each time, I log off right near the easiest daily quest I can find. For Elves, this is in the starter area, at the quest giver Blinsik (57.5,47.2). She will give you a quest called “Helping Them Grow”. Instead of killing other mobs for however long, or waiting for a drop, you simply run back and forth to 53.9, 34.6, use the object there, and then return to Blinsik. Rinse/Repeat for an easy 100 Phirius Tokens. Time needed, about 10 minutes per character.

To unlock the secret mission, on the “Media Blitz” mission, where you get to control the Odin in the city, head down to the far bottom right corner of the map. There’s a civilian building on a little floating platform. Destroy it, and “secret documents” will be revealed. Pick these up with any ground unit, and then complete the mission as normal. Starcraft 2 Battlecruiser – Introduction
The Starcraft 2 Battlecruiser is an evolution of the unit seen in the first game. Gone is the single laser cannon of the original Battlecruisers, replaced by a battery of four lasers that make it a far more useful and flexible attacking force. The toughest of the Terran aerial units, Battlecruisers are covered in massive walls of neosteel, enabling them to soak up large amounts of damage. This comes at the cost of mobility though. Throw in the Yamato Cannon, a spectacular nuclear cannon upgrade that can take down some of the biggest opposition units with one blast, and you have one tough nut to crack. The Maze
In doing Volume III Book II Chapter’s 5-7, You are given the deed: Exploration From Top to Bottom. While you are completing the objectives of Vol. III Bk II Ch 7, you will discover some of these locations, then you need to decide if you want to finish the deed. It took me almost 4 hours but I was taking screenshots, and notes.
There are two dungeons, Minas Elendur (ME) and Delotham (D) that are intertwined. Doors in the dungeons normally take you to the other dungeon, rarely a door just continues on in the same dungeon.
So here is the tricky time consuming bit to find a location in ME, you might have to go to D then find a door to apart of ME that cannot be reached by any other means (and vise-versa)
On my first char, I didn’t know about this deed, but decided some maps would help my friends and kinsmen so I ran another char through Vol III Book I, then Book II Just so I could get to this deed again but this time with a completed map to put in the annotations, the dialogue is cut from the chat panel so even though I cut out one place to find in screenshots of the deed, all are here… Continue reading »

The Zerg is very unique compared to the other races. The Zerg are unique because of their ability to manage larva. Unlike the other two races, Zerg use the larva to make the units. In addition to this difference, the Zerg also has to sacrifice a drone in order to construct a building, they may only place buildings on creep, and they have only one building to produce units from.
The first and most important task in playing Zerg is managing your Queens. You must have at least 1 queen at each hatchery in order to keep up with your macro. In order to be effective at leveling up, you need to deal damage. The faster you kill an enemy the better. With a Cleric you can have both damage and protection, as they can wear chain armor and wield a shield. The basic build of this class is with chain armor, shield, mace and lots of HP manastones. This provides great survivability but takes away a lot of damage. I saw a little modification to this build that made me very good in PvE. Continue reading »

After creating a trial account to scope out the world of Eve Online, many people will quickly find that after upgrading to a few frigates that the only next logical step is to move up to a new class of ships.
Unfortunately, due to it being a trial account, people find that they are heavily restricted on what kinds of ships that they are allowed to purchase. What few ships are available, and can take days to train the proper skills for. Thus making many missions very difficult to complete, and ultimately making it more difficult for people to further scope out the game to decide if they want to subscribe and play on.
This is an easy way to obtain a destroyer class ship on day one of your trial account. This will make level 1 missions a breeze, allowing you to move onto more interesting level 2 missions, as well as getting a glimpse of what the game REALLY has to offer.
