I was surprised to see this as anyone, more surprised after I read all that had happened with the new World of Warcraft trojan, and realized this is probably the method used to perpetrate the deed.  This is a simple tool, it’s the Java program found on most mobile phones, but this also comes with an emulator, which will in turn allow you to use this file on your Windows computer.  Sorry Mac, you’re going to have to wait a bit longer.

I myself verified it does work, it will work as a mobile desktop authenticator.  Great if you want your own little Core Hound pet. Even though It’s not officially supported on other phones, if you can run the jar file from your java enabled phone, you can use this as an authenticator directly off your phone.

Here’s a few tips and tricks I have learned over the years.  I have almost always played on PvP servers, so some of these will only apply to that.

Use Insert and Delete to fly upside down.  Always looks kind of weird, especially if you are on a flying carpet and doing that.

Always (PvP Server) make a PvP toon, for leveling. Sooner or later you will be confronted with an enemy, who will pound you unless you know how to fight.

The best PvE gear won’t help you in Arena and Battlegrounds, get PvP gear instead – and learn how to use it to your advantage. Continue reading »

This is a simple AutoIt script, which you will be able to use, to auto join battlegrounds with.  It does read memory, but it doesn’t write to it (like most bots these days).
It uses simple memory reading and uses only the keyboard (it runs minimized without any problems) to run. As long as you don’t make this an executable file, it should remain undetectable, as Blizzard will only see AutoIt running, not your BG Bot.

In a surprising turn of events, it seems that Blizzard Authenticator users are now being targeted to have their accounts hacked.  Long thought to be the safest way to keep your account safe, Authenticators users are now the target of attacks.  The best thing to keep your account safe, is use a great anti-virus program if you want to know my recommendations, read “System Protection, Use it or Lose It“.  Should you be worried? Yes!

If you use anything but my recommendations, then you place your account at risk… but you still might be safe.  However you should immediately scan your system for a file called “emcor.dll”.  If you find it, delete it and then change your password immediately – don’t change your password before deleting it and emptying the recycle bin.

This exploit will allow you to chain stun Thrall and all his guards. It’s a great way for a small group to take out Thrall and his minions.  Now this exploit could work on the Alliance side, but it has not been tested.

What you will need:

1. At least 1 level 80 that is will geared.
2. A friend who hasn’t made a Death Knight on your server yet.

Have your friend start a HORDE DK and after your friend has completed all the DK quests in the starting zone, he/she will get a quest to go speak to Thrall and “join” the Horde. This is where the exploit comes in.

Zygor claimed that they were doing something for their members, which was to release their guide in either the Tourguide or Zygor format.  Really, I think it was cutting the head off the snake, which is to say that they didn’t want anyone else to have an ingame interactive leveling guide.  For the most part, thats what it appears that they have done, as now other companies which sell leveling guides, based on tourguide can’t do it anymore.  This affects Joana, Spugnort, Brian Kopp (which is now owned by Spugnort), Dugi, and some others.  Continue reading »

When killing Professor Putricide, in 10 man as a DK.  If you go into Unholy presence when controlling the abomination, you will get a global cooldown reduction.  This is great for DPSing, nuking, and collecting acid.  This might also work on 25 man, but needs to be tested, any takers?

If you are like me, you have probably looked at wow-heroes often, to see what will get you a better score for PvE.  The problem is, they pretty much generalize what they think is best for you… and maybe for max dps, they are right.  However, I am a PvP player, and what they recommend doesn’t really go well with my rogue.  I play my rogue as a Combat spec, opportunistic killer.  He will hide, till he thinks you are alone or vulnerable, then dispatch you.  If you get him far down on health, he will quickly leave the fight – he’s very good at that, with his glyphs helping to evade the enemy.

Here’s a site, which will help you determine exactly what enchantments you might want… like for my dual wielding Rogue… Blood Draining and Lifeward.  Nothing quite beats the satisfaction of cheating death… again, when your enemy thinks he has you, and you suddenly double proc another 700 health, allowing you to leave the fight and survive.

Want another great reason to get an Android over an iPhone?  How about if you can play WoW (or any other game) on it?

Depending on which Android based phone you have, it may alter how well you can play WoW. On the Droid, I can essentially utilize it for checking up on friends via whispers, et cetera.  Other phones may also allow you to play a bit in some battles, just not large ones or pvp, as likely the battles will be to fast for you.  Here’s how to run WoW on your Android…

1. Pick up the quest in Icecrown named: That’s Abominable!
2. Kill an abomination to get guts.
3. Summon your abomination.
4. You can either hearthstone or teleport to Dalaran. The abomination will port with you. You can even be summoned.
5. Now find a busy location and explode it. You will see all nearby people flying everywhere – if you use on the edge near the flight master, you might luck out, and get someone to foll to their death as well, to the valley below.

You can pretty much take the abomination to any where in Northrend ie Wintersgrasp This is not tested with Instances yet.   Anyone for a Gunship Battle?
