Veliks Tera Mastery Guide
What the hell? If you are new to understanding culture, then you might be surprised to hear that the USA is one of the most prude countries in the world. It’s also one of the most religious. What this boils down to, is that games needed to be rated and censored to be sold in most stores. In this case, Tera Online is following suit, because they want the most amount of players to play their game. Nothing wrong with that right? Really it depends on your perspective.

Personally, I find it appalling that we allow children to see violence so much, and yet sex is hidden from them. People since the invent of the Television have seen more violence and have become mostly immune to it over the years. Yet sex, is still a taboo subject. Again, a strange perspective.

Anyways, here’s a video of how Tera Online will look for both the USA and Europe versus how it will look for Korea and some other non-prude countries.

Tera Online: Censorship for North American/European Players!, 5.0 out of 5 based on 1 rating

  1. Some of us won’t be drinking the censorship kool-aid En-Mass been spewing out since their up-coming release of TERA.

We’re adults and we’re going to play the games as adults and get our money’s worth for the $50+ price-tag Tera’s selling for.

From players being threatened with bans to forums being closed, to trolls repeatedly spewing hate across the video-game En-Mass has shown that they don’t give two hoots about the real player-feedback. So they quickly got scared and slapped on censorship textures which resulted in a well-deserved lash-back.

PodCast is the great example of the cows who are pushing for censorship of TERA. Unfortunately it was due to these types of ignoramuses that En-Mass did a quick job on Elin due to fear of ratings and has lost the confidence of it’s customers in future games published under their name.

If it was an adult game to began with players shouldn’t be held responsible for everyone’s timmy and tam sneaking on the play TERA. Quiet frankly they should have left the 18+ rating and left the game for what TERA was originally rated for. ADULTS.

    • For an 18+ game I sure don’t want to be playing as little (what, 10 year old??) rabbit girls. “Adult content” should stick to ADULT characters, not play on the pedo crowd.

      • Which is exactly why it’s censored, because people don’t want to see rabbit girls partially nude, even if they have large breasts, which honestly would be an abomination on any little girl… If you want to be a pedo, become a podiatrist, am I right?

  2. This is bullshit and En Mass sucks ass. No respect for there fan base or own artistic creation.
